We stand with our community members today in mourning for George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, as well as countless other victims. We are asking ourselves, what actions can we take as a community to combat injustice and uplift our neighbors? How can we best learn from those who are affected?
The New Depot Players proudly acknowledges our responsibility to work towards a brighter future for all Americans while prioritizing the needs of the underprivileged, by standing as a theatre arts organization that values diversity, inclusion, education, and excellence. We will offer our platform to amplify the voices of the unheard, and we vow to listen more as we continue to be a place that welcomes and celebrates all. We will dedicate ourselves to do what the revolutionary world of art has always done: to touch hearts, challenge minds, and demand better.
